    test drive results, desplined flanges/removed axle

    You could probably pick up double splined axles from Ouverson Engineering: http://www.ouversonengineering.com/ These allow you to use front drive plates on the rear axle with some beefy axles, so this would work with lockouts. Cheers Bob
