I would prefer to have a "slip on" adapter for conversion from Pintle to 2" Receiver for maximum flexibility and quick-change. IF it simply "hooked over" the rear cross-member, was captured to prevent side-to-side movement between two fixed (and exisiting) structures (maybe the frame rails)...

Thanks for posting this up. Do you have any additional pics - possibly a top view? What keeps it from sliding side-to-side? Does it "just fit" between the frame rails (need the top view to tell)? Very nice concept. I agree, there's room for inprovement based on individual preferences, too.
