    Yes, regular incandesant headlamps emit a great deal of heat energy. During a good storm I will have giant icicles form under my headlamps from the melt off and re-freezing when the water moves away from the heat off the lamp. Rgds, Jakob

    Very cool headlamps, But I wonder how they might fare with ice & snow, Do they emit enough heat to keep themselves melted off ? A 600$ experiment this winter,,, No I don't think so... Jakob
