My suburban has a bolt on roof rack. They used some blue RTV to seal it. A better option is the sealant they sell for roof vents on RVs. It is designed to keep out the moisture. The stuff I used 7 years ago was clear and it is still holding today.
Just ordered a widescreen collectors copy of Dante's Peak from Wally World. Less the $8 to my door. I looked for a copy in the bargain bin but didn't find one.

You will find that the bumper and shackles are a direct bolt on on the 4x4 frame. I have a set on mine.

Barrman installed the later style GP controller on his 1984 USAF Burb. There are instructions on how to do this. I'll see if I can find them.
I have the factory wiring diagrams for a 1984 Burb. I'll see if the fusebox is included.
Wish my 1987 V20 burb with barn doors was running when I bought it. All cylinders where in the 120psi range.
