I would say the winch was added. It would have a serial number of 1041-xxxxx. At least with all the numbers submitted so far. Thanks for posting your info.

I have seen very few (actually none) with the winch. Peashooters M109A3 in pictures is the only one.

Interesting. That would help explain some of the gaps in the unit numbers and serial numbers. Some of the trucks have the unit number stamped on the data plate and some do not.

I just had an interesting thought. Where there any M109A3s included in this group of USAF trucks?
