The brackets show up on fleabay for around $75, I bought one a couple of years ago. I did find one at the Pull-A-Part in my three years of looking. They gave it to me for free.- Warthog

The TH350 was introduced in 1969 and phased out around 1984ish. The 700r4 is a replacement for the TH350. It is a new design without a bunch of electronics. It was introduced in 1982. Not that bad. Does the price include the torque converter? Great news on the install. I have a 1987 diesel 4x4 Burb that has a TH400 in it. It needs a rebuild so I am gathering parts for a R4 install.- Warthog
