Yeah, now I remember, they fit but the N14 has more stem above the retainer and the x head rides on the retainer when installed on the NT. It's been a bit!

Last time I was involved in a K repair it was 700 a hole, just a cylinder kit. Good news is that you can one hole it, but pieces fly around inside worse than the 855, Aftercooler cores were upwards of 2500. But those were Cummins prices, real deal parts, no aftermarket crap. I do like the smoke...

Hey Wes, are you having heads rebuilt or new/exchange? I just thought of something. It has been a bit, but, IIRC, N14 valves are spaced the same as NT. If you could come up with a set of N14 cross heads, they should fit on the NT heads, but you would need to remove the cross head guide, and...

I also thought of something, a Jake issue can cause this type of failure, but only if it is a mechanical failure of the brake components, like a broken actuator spring, the one that makes the foot that actuates the crosshead, so, that might be something to look at. It takes an arbor press to...

    Simp's M923 Big Cam Repower

1/2 x 20 thread takes up apx .050 per revolution. 1/4 turn takes apx .012. By adding a quarter turn, .012 is taken out of the total travel of the injection stroke, IIRC the lift is .232, so, if you only allow .220 of lift in a spot that has .232 built into it, it takes a bit of time, but...

Explain the injector hanging open causing a "mushrooming" ....PT injectors cannot do that, hang open. they are not pintle type injectors. They will break crimps, that is usually caused by an incorrect tune up. too tight of an adjustment, greater than 6 in lbs...no 1/4 turn past zero lash...that...

Something to think about, you cannot just bolt a flywheel housing on....Is that what broke or the bell housing on the trans? It needs to be dialed in. If not, the flywheel housing will break at every bolt that holds it to the block. I have a tool if you need it.

HT4B bearing housings were never threaded, there is an adapter kit to go from T46 to HT turbos.

    Seal away!!

    Simp's M923 Big Cam Repower

No sealant on the housing, unless it is wet. Only seal is the rear crank seal.

Just a heads up, when you swap the flywheel hsg from a SC to BC, one hole does not line up, it is the bolt hole just above the cam bore. You will need to enlarge it. I have a jig to do it at work.
