    So what's the common denominator on steel tubes? So far it's just 5-tons from the 1970's to 2002 (if I'm reading TomTime's post correctly) Does this mean all 5-ton's have steel tubes?

    I'm curious, my 1976 M813 had a steel pickup tube in the fuel tank. Mike Virili at Big Mike's motorpool thought it was "kind of odd to me that steel was used...Most of this stuff would have been copper in the fuel tanks, but it could have been changed out by someone who used what they had to...
