Basically yes.. I marked the location of the nut before removal and both went right back into the same spot, But I went alittle further just to see and it did bind, so I backed it off to where it was. Yes the knuckle is dry..

OK, I got the front done today !! Took about 5 hours total, Really wasn't that bad...Went right together !! I had to stop early to take the boys to a car show.. I will fill the front end with oil tomorrow and see what happens !!

The rear is super easy ! You don't even have to remove the wheels !! Just take the big nut off the hub, slide the axles out a few inches (end is threaded so you can screw a bolt in to grab ahold of) and remove driveshaft and diff bolts.. Chunk comes right out.. Start to finish was 2 hours. The...

I started on mine and have finished the rear then got sidetracked !! It went together very smooth !! The hardest part was the lug nuts !! Buy one of these, there worth the $$, You can break loose any lug nut with ease ! This thing with just a small hand crank breaks loose nuts I couldn't bust...

I finally made it home !! It was a killer trip. The guys at Premier metals dropped an axle from 20 feet onto my trailer... Twice !! The first one smashed the fenders into the tires, The second one wasn't so bad. They fixed the best they could and took care of me for the damages !!! I got away...

Got here at 330. I decided to get 3 sets of axles and some tires.

I am sitting in premiers driveway waiting on them to open tomorrow. Dang it is hot in TX !! Gonna get me some of those axles. Should have them installed soon. I will let you know how it goes...

How did the gears look, Good ? Same as the LMTV I believe
