Everything I have read about intercoolers for these truck basically says the cost benefit ratio is too high. Essentially no real gain for the added cost.

Being that my mechanical experience with engines is limited, but growing, I might hold off on doing the head studs and head gaskets for right now. Maybe just tackle the turbo. Haven't compeltely decided yet.

Did you put anything on the threads for the EGT fitting in the exhaust manifold?

What did you use for head gaskets? I am getting ready to put a HX35 on my 1028 along with new head studs.

whats the model on the boost gauge? autometer has one that is mechanical and one that is electric, big difference in price.
