Painted the trailer today with fresh CARC I painted the M105 today. I painted the bows and sides 2 weeks ago. had a little left over paint and shot my towbar. :roll:

I need to seek professional help! I had some left over tan CARC so I re-shot my pioneer tools and mounted today with nice new straps from Saturnsurplus.

RE: bed fixed and painted yesterday I have heard that from a bunch of folks. I laugh because I catch myself sanding NOS parts because they have runs in the paint and I don't want someone to think I painted the runs. I've got to get over this!

C'dub, I have a good dryer to remove moisture. I wiped down prior to paint with denatured alcohol. I was told by some service folks that this is what they did prior to painting CARC. Steelandcanvas, The gauge labels are from Rick Larsen.

I got the blistering thing down pat!!! I have figured out by trial and error what has been causing the blistering of the type II water based CARC... Rustoleum primer is NOT happy working with this CARC. I ran test samples of multiple variables and it turns out that if you use Rustoleum primer...

I'll check under the blisters. I didn't use Laquer just before painting it was a day before, if that makes any difference?? Some of the parts were stripped down to bare metal some weren't. I'm thinking I painted when the sun was higher and hotter outside so the paint cured too quickly causing...
