I'm on my way sound from Simi Valley and who do I pass on the freeway? No other than Tyler and his gasser on his way to the rally. Lookin' good with the snazzy new convoy lights. These guys are gonna have a great time.

Gary, When I was there with Will, I saw camp fires. Regarding shootin', there is an area on the other side of the 15 fwy where that is allowed. We may need to bring stuff to blow up. Regarding Simi, I'll be at yrly meeting at one of our sister plants in Simi. I plan on driving the deuce out...

It looks like will be working that day as well. We may be able to convoy Friday eve.

RE: got some pics of camping areas I found out I can't get out of the conference I'll be at in Simi Valley on the 9th. It may end early but I'm not sure. I'll have to play it by ear regarding the convoy. So at the worst I'll have to meet you guys up there. :x

got some pics of camping areas Will, my wife and myself went out to the Stoddard Wells area and scouted out some camping and riding areas. It was an awsome day, about 60 degrees and blue skies. We found a great nook just big enough to fit 5-10 big M.V.'s. Nice wind block yet right off the one...

Will, I'm in...as you know. I don't have a GPS but we can will do just fine with a map and a digital camera.

I think most folks can make the Stoddard Valley area. I'm thinking we should lock down a date in Nov. How about the 9th thru 11th? Let's start chiming in and get a date set!

My vote is for the Barstow, Lucerne area. Seems like a more centralized area and Will is right regarding the support structure throughout the area.

I'd love the idea of a convoy. We could be watching out for each other...stop and camp along the way...Just a thought.

Works for me as long as the beer is cold and the steaks are bloody. What about the big bear area? Ocotillo wells has over 80k acres!
