Thanks for the input Ryan, but i did some research and found this number E-5896-R&L which is a old Kenworth cross ref also (which i have read on here). Only thing that concerns me is the shoulder length is .125 longer than the original. shouldn't b a problem due to the hole in the rim being so...
does anyone have the part number for longer studs?? I just went to the truck shop and all they could find was a stud that had to be custom made by eculid, cause they dont stock them. thanks kyle
if you read the threads that were refered above by gringeltaube, people don't suggest doing that cause it holds the rim from mating with the hub surface flat.
hey guys went to put my hemmit rims on today and ran into this. now i know the front studs need to be longer but look at the rears. they are like a 1/2inch to short. anyone ever run into this on the rear before? thanks kyle
Thanks for the pics guys. My bobbed deuce has hemmits in the rear and i like the look of that just wasn't sure with the tandem show it would look. But from the pics provided i def like the look better. thanks kyle
yea i know the process i just wanted to see how they look before i go threw all the effort of flipping them. Have you seen any with it does? just to see pics that is
Hey guys im getting ready to put some hemmit rims on my 5 ton but was wondering has anyone flipped the hubs out in the rear and put the hemmit's on that way? I have been looking for pics but can;t seem to find anyone that has done it. thanks kyle
