    Just did the deed...I had to loosen the alt, but had BajaPower below holding the housing. The Manual is CRAZY to say pull the base....

Do most of you actually remove the housing base from the mounting bracket as instructed in the manual or just flip the alternator out of the way and remove the single nut that holds housing on?
