Well I got the 14-20's on the trailer. Now looking at it makes it all worth it. It sits pretty much level with tractor. I'm going to have to extend the landing gear now!
Yep Ray you are right on. Before with small tires the landing gear was on a forward angle do to the height of the 5 ton a1/a2's. Now the gear is straight up and down.
With the deuce frame upside down it gave a little more clearance for the M146 brake stuff. I do think it's up about 8". Once I get the 14-20 Goodyear's on it should sit just about level.
The reason I'm using the extra frame is so I can extend it to the back and join it with an icc bumper. I want to build a bumper with steps and put a pintle hitch on the back so I can drag my M105 with to. I still need to plate the sides of the frames and trim off the excess on the front. I don't...
Operation trailer lift. I'm going to be running 14-20's on my M146 so I needed a lift kit. I'm using a section of deuce frame in between the stock frame and suspension. Hoping to get it done by tomorrow.
