It is a restoration for a museum. It has sat in the back of a motorpool for 30+ years. I am trying to get it fired up for the first time since then. Multiple parts are missing, but its slowly getting put back together.
Has anyone heard of a Donaldson adapter kit P174779 working to convert the oil filter head to a spin-on? My local Detroit dealer is suggesting this kit to replace the canister that I am missing.
The pulley for the generator is the biggest problem right now. Took a HMMWV 60 amp gen that bolts up nice, but the pulley doesn't have enough offset. do you have an suggestions on where to find the proper pulley? Will the HMMWV 60 amp work on this application?
