Official 2014 SS Georgia Rally Multimedia SSGR14 thread

Ok, this is the video that the GL representative shot. I really want to thank him and GL for releasing this footage to us at no cost. This is the only video that was shot of the convoy other than Robo McDuff's. Sorry this took so long-the GL guy was shooting in QuickTime, a format my video...

I have some good footage but I need to edit it. My editor doesn't work with QuickTime and the footage was shot with QT. I either need a free editor that can work with QT or a free converter that can convert QT over to something like mp4, flash, wmv, etc. Anyone have any suggestions?

I strongly doubt we have any kind of count on the number of trail rides or the number of vehicles or riders who went. It would be difficult to get any kind of accurate count since we allow people to ride on their own without trail rider leaders. I only got to go on one ride this year. I...

Yes, I looked to see what the correct nomenclature was for the 915 series of trucks and couldn't find anything other than "915" series, so that's what I called them. If there is a correct designator for that family (like M44, M809, M939, etc.) let me know and I'll correct it.

I think what happened was this: Traditionally, we counted vehicles as a way of measuring rally attendance. But this year, we decided to try and capture some additional data so we could better understand the rally and how to make it better. One of the pieces of data we decided to capture was...

Ok, so we have compiled the attendance information from the registration tent and we need to revise down the attendance figures. Initially we believed the count for powered vehicles was 136, but some civilian vehicles (Honda Civic? rofl) were counted. Once swbradley1 had time to go over the...

I thought of a couple other things: Much thanks to Butch, Mark and Joe for letting me drive their trucks. Part of the fun of the rally is getting to experience vehicles other than your own and that's a big reason why I let all my friends drive the mule and the Jeep. Thanks to Swiss and...

Well, this is going to take awhile. First, all of this is from my perspective and swbradley1 may have more to add later on from his point of view. If you get left out, please don't take it personal. It's hard to remember everything. There will be a announcement of some info about next years...
