    IMHO yes... cause it is a good way to shed 2500 pounds before adding weight of the camper box. Wonder how much Flex they "dont have" is based on the bed's subframe being bolted onto the chassis?

    Maybe apologize for being picky but could they weight it. Suggest that cause it might give you a hint by comparing the two's weight if they are using a thicker wall tube on the smaller one, negating the need to go 4". Sidenote... something to consider... if it is the superseded model for...

    YUP YUP...... Been there broke that. take copies of sections of TM relevant to Specs. The tolerances expected on these are more stringent than a typical truck so don't give them any room to assume it's like any other truck they've worked on.
