are you speaking of the CTIS ECU? What would concern me if so..... is they say to unplug it before jump starting.. (this came up in a PS Mag. bulletin) Is that because it does not like sudden surges? if so.... then I would only use your kill switch for off/ons when the truck is OFF for same...
Just a heads up..... along there somewhere came to a point.... putting AO type CTIS controllers in an A1..... can FUBAR things. Use the black ones only

mentioned it thinking it might be tad easier to design since it was stated the complexity in dealing with the "delayed responce" times may make the task of building one not worth the effort ( https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/lmtv-ctis-question.162326/post-2494341 )
what about fixed switch AND momentary..... as in FIxed switches set to ALWAYS take tire to no more than ten lbs away from final pressure (psi pressure relay cuts if off) leaving one to have to manually take it from there to the final point desired point. That way if you are on Sand...
on the bump up pressure to match speed.... when did that feature get in there? As early as the A0.... or later in the A1's? How much did it bump things up?
Would you mind offering up the 6-ish safety functions it checked?
much appreciate in advance any info you can offer.
with truck off... unplug it.... remove it. dissasemble it as far as your comfortable...... clean the shiat out of it with CRC or some other electronics cleaner....... do some light brushing with a soft tooth brush, etc. Dont forget to clean the pins and pin holes in the connector with tiny...
There is mention recent of 6x6 CTIS ECU's used on 4x4's maybe having a fault issue due to math (calculating for 6 tires when only 4 exist).... in your diagnostic/edit software do you come across a spot to in there to set how many tires are on the vehicle? (4 or 6 ? )
What faults do you suspect would appear??
Overinflate? Based on what? As in not the 50ish-lb the previous trucks were set for??? But then again.... maybe those were under inflated thus decision to change to the 6x6 settings? How much you suspect the pressure will drop in temps below 50...
If you have not done so already would you post link to your set up in the primary thread on this (TJhuffy's thread) so we can keep it all tied together within easy reach.
Like your valve a lot better
I've not bit that bullet yet so can't answer your questions. The fellow with the Australian outback FMTV build of recent did this on his and may be able to answer those questions
primary reason I plan to go this route is flexibility. Can go with higher pressures for highway use compared to military's fixed setting for that, as well as nearly infinite settings between max tire and minimum tire pressure settings. What can go wrong is NOT computer or electrical.. just the...
