    Thanks Bob for that informative response! Lots of tidbits to research. From my own rough calculations, based on horsepower and fuel consumption/hr the BSFC for the multi is about 0.38. Assuming that it takes about 100 HP to run the deuce at 50 MPH with a MPG of about 10. That can be fine tuned...

    David, what percentage of the time are the trucks used to transport troops? It may be a sensitive number, but the obvious point is that there should be a (possibly) new category of trucks, "armored cargo carriers".
