    Yes, the sound changes, couldn't say what it is, but it does mellow out some when the pressure gets up. 30 psi plus or minus. Bjorn

    The oil filters drain when the engine is shut down and it takes 10 seconds or so to get the pressure back up when started. Bjorn MVPA19212
