We received a few of these cab chassis units at work. They would be awesome with a standard 8 ft pick up bed. They are all Duramax diesel.

Yesterday I went for some tractor parts and they had a Mahindra jeep on the lot for sale. Cool little thing with a 2.5 liter Diesel engine and a 5 speed stick shift transmission. It was really nice and I checked it out. I would have bought this as a toy back when I ran my 4 wheelers and I know...

Unstoppable comes to mind when I think about the best traction tires I ever put on any of my trucks. Goodyear LT23585R16 10 ply Duratrac are great off road in mud and snow. And very good highway use tires. I have been thru a few sets in the past 15 years. They replaced the Goodyear Work Horse...

After 3 weeks of driving and loving the new truck I did break and purchased a set of Genuine GM side steps. I wouldn't call them running boards. I had to wait to see some on other new trucks to figure out which ones I wanted to add. It sure did make the entering and exiting easier on me and all...

Since I am NOT 007 I don't care who knows where I am. I don't believe in government conspiracy theories. Every picture you take on a cell phone has a GPS location. Every cell phone has GPS. Every highway has cameras. Restaurant's, drive thru, store, pizza parlor. Who am I hiding from and why...

I was out driving it at 0600. I woke up hit the remote start and it was warmed up and ready to roll. No wait no clean windshield. Set to run 20 minutes unattended. I knew it would show up in a snowy icy week. I went and used the 2007 Silverado to plow ice and slush. After an hour I noticed no...

Hopping on your thread Rusty. Mine arrived today. actually 2 of them arrived. I had a duplicate order. All is well. I called the rail yard today after tracking it and they loaded the 2 on the car carrier and delivered them. I am only buying one of them. 2019 Silverado Custom Trail Boss. Factory...

My 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 4 door Crew Cab is being made in Fort Wayne Indiana. Here is an copy and paste from a GM letter. Regular cab is last to launch too, I assume due to the fact that Ft.Wayne is handling crew cab and double cab launch production. Once Silao starts spitting out crew cab...

Or buy a Kubota with a FEL and don't lift anything over 50 lbs. Getting old creeps up on you.

An M1010 does not have the limited slip front axle or the auxiliary leaf springs on the rear axle. The M1010 was a cab chassis that was made to be an M1010. I seen one CUCV that never made M1010 status with a regular cargo bed on it. The A/C lines were still capped off and the big generators...

I seen the window stickers on the M1009's right off the carriers. They were over $17K. and the M1010 was over $50K. I can not vouch for the pickups. I don't remember the price of them to affirm and debate. I had one of the stickers in my tool box from an M1009 and somewhere in time it got lost...

That's correct and a stripped bare bones m1009 was almost $18K. I drove them when they arrived at the dealership. They needed recall work as soon as they arrived. The M1010's were at our dealership for almost a year with charging issues. They were over $50K.

I am guilty of the same pleasures. Love the new Chevys. Look forward to a new truck every 5 years. I have been waiting for 6 months on my new truck. Due mid January 2019. I still like the old CUCV's but I agree it is the reliability and comfort that I desire most from the new truck. Nice truck...
