    Basically the new replacement inner fender aprons are all imports. They have a wash primer only. They will rust thru in 2 years in the northeast if they are not properly coated. I scuff mine and prime them with a sealing primer. I prefer black primer on these. I use a rustproofing undercoating...

    You must use a grinder and grind thru the apron skin from the under hood side. Do this after you remove it. The reinforcements are spot welded in place. The right inner fender is the only one that has it. Nothing special about the left apron. Good Luck.
