    A needle nose hemostat clamp works perfect. I have stock GM return lines in the bags I bought 25 years ago and have used maybe 1 or 2 in 200K miles. Texas might eat them faster. Good Luck. Rubber or cloth. All the same.

    Dorman 904-101 Fuel Injection Return Hose & Clamps 82-00 6.2L / 6.5L GM Diesel (dieselpowerproducts.com) I have used these in the past. The clamps are a the hardest thing to get off and seated properly. Take your time and it will all work out. Good Luck.
