That looks great Ted! What are you going to do as far as color for the Grille area?

You probably don't have to do the civi thing to the windshield if you are going to use a military top, as long as you have the channel on the top to slide the leading edge of the top into and the extra mounting plates of the turret assy don't get in the way.

That looks really good Ted! I think you should try to make the soft top fit over that Turret/rear support setup. It is way stronger in a rollover than a normal soft top setup. You will have some problem at the rear Curtain area and maybe near the top corners of the B and C Pillars, because of...

Hey Ted, What PCB are you using? Since there is some difference in the Engine Wire Harness between the N/A A2 and the Turbo equiped Humvees, there must be something different in the wiring that passes into the PCB. The correct PCB for the M1113 is the one shown below. I think the M1114 is the...

Nice job Ted! That last foto looks like it could have been taken on the AMG assembly line. Ya now would be a good time to come out here, because it is warmer than our summer weather.

So the second (silver) Proportioning valve may not be used as one but as a handy coupling for the lines that exit the anti lock devices to attach to the brake lines that go to their respective axles.

What's with the dual Proportioning Valves Ted and more importantly can you give a quick description of the plumbing?

    HMMWV A2 Project

Hi Ted, I am working on my Humvee in the area of the driver's position and most specifically the footwell area and noticed that your through body Grommet for the main wire harness is not installed the same as mine originally was. The square part of the grommet was on the engine side along with...

Hi Ted, Your insulation job looks good, so good in fact that I'm going to copy you! If you don't mind being not Military Original on the underside of your humvee, you can buy from AMG, a boot cover that goes on just after the rubber boot for the shifter and before the assy is attached to the...

Well Ted, you have my vote for the nicest Humvee in private hands.

Wow Ted! That serpenting belt setup looks really great. It does a better job around the Alt and PS pump area that my older style setup does. I hope mine works well enough and dosen't throw belts. Do you have the spacers for lifting the body a little higher than a N/A equiped Humvee/Hummer? The...

There are two solid type 8 groove serpentine pulleys that I'm aware of. I don't have them in front of me right this second, but one spaces the rear of the belt about 3/4" forward of the alt face. This I call the 200 amp alt 8 groove pulley and is used with the big "S" shaped bracket that holds...

I have an NOS 100 Amp Alt 8 groove serpentine belt pulley. If you don't find one in the boxes of parts, maybe we can trade for something that you have extra that I could use. I aalso sent you a foto of the front of my engine so you could see the belt arrangement. you have a triangular plate near...

    HMMWV A2 Project

Ted, that's a nice project. It looks like whoever you bought it from assembled a lot of good parts. Is that a new engine? It does still have the civi waste gate controller, which is vacuum operated, so you are going to have to find the military unit, which is not listed in the manuals or do like...
