    Remember, Most deuces will run Without the in tank pump. Most 5 tons Will Not. It (The pump). is usually only require after a filter change. In fact, All my deuces have a switch to turn off the in tank pump once the truck starts and runs. Saving uneccassery wear and tear. 'Tiz the dreaded clip...

    Just to clarify, The button and clip are in the hydraulic head. (At the bottom of), It is not a big job to rectify. You might care to have look at my recent post. "Deuces fixed and a big thank you".

    HA! , The dreaded button and clip fell off syndrome. 4 dollars to a penny that is what the problem is.
