    Meyers plows used a plow attachment that uses the front axle as the push point. Very common in the 2 ton truck useage. No bushings either, just pins.

    Bind up and birds-nest when you let off tension too.

    I would use hydraulics to lift it. Your gonna make a mess of your cable if you try to use it. There just is not enough control for that type of use.
