Fixer uppers always cost a lot more than one that has been somewhat upgraded already
Just for the wheels, tires and adapter plates, wouldn't that be around a $3-5K to purchase ? (am I way off with those numbers ?)

Just a quick update, I put these trucks on the back burner for a bit
After searching this site and getting the "bug", I questioned whether those trucks are the right move for me
I would want to upgrade to oversized single wheels and tires, power steering, winch and other goodies

Yes no doubt, Cummins are very good motors
and I am sure they wouldn't leak nearly as much oil compared to my dirty 2 stroke diesels in my boat
i will report back with info on the tranny
