I dont see how a stock ls engine is going to break half shalfs unless you are rough on it. Just driving it easy. I have a 65 stang i converted to a v8 with a stock 7 inch rear axle. Everyone said it will explode instantly... 500 million burnouts later. Its still together I bought a ford 9 inch...

I see why someone would do an ls swap. My 600 dollar black box fried itself. Along with my 600 dollar generator. I could buy an ls engine for 1200..
