Hmmm, I think I prefer the looks of the multi-barrel AA gun. Especially that single rocket looks very sad sitting on top of the truck. And 152 dana's should be on tatras ;)

You lot again ;) I asked around here to have my injects cleaned and set to pressure. Got quoted about $40... each, so multiply by 12 please. That's the main thing that put me off. Reading this thread makes me wonder if I cant just do it myself. Apparently we have the tools in the garage, but...

You're getting quicker on the whole reply thing eh :wink: I think I need to clean and adjust my injectors too at some point, but it looks like a complicated technical job (unlike the rest of the maintenance on the engine, heh) with loads of things to go wrong. I do have access to some device...

Seems we all have a little out-of-the-ordinary type of vehicle, and thats saying something on this forum :D Yeah, based on the actuator I said "wait that must be identical to mine", only to look at the real thing and realize I dont have boots at all. I wanted to make a picture of the actuator...

Right, I made some pictures for you. I dont think t813 boots will do you much good ;) When I looked at my brake cylinders I literally slapped myself on the head. All I have for boots is a little cap that scrapes dirt off the cylinder rod.

Those prices, times 6, wont make you a happy kid though :roll: Also, Ezfeed, I saw you posted in cranetruck's XM topic that you found some boots already. That was a few years ago though, iirc. Did that source disappear or did you forget about it? Dont worry, Im still going to check my tatra boots!

Guessing its open at both sides but retained on the main cylinder body with that cap on the bottom? Either way, see if you can take it off or at least get the cylinder shaft diameter. Then go to a truck parts supplier, they might be able to help. In the mean time, Ill make a picture of the boots...

I know that trick, all I need now is something with wheels big enough to strap them to, and somewhere to drive it. Hmmm. I wonder if I could put the tank on of the wheels from the tatra itself. :twisted:

The tanks are.. well... bad. Only using one at the moment, the other is filled with rust and dirt. Already ran a few bottles of cleaning additive through, it really helps. Smoking a little is nothing new when working with a tatra ofcourse :-D Will look at "diesel clean"!

Nice videos! Look around the vehicle some more next time, however much fun it is to stand out of a roof hatch, its not too interesting to watch :roll: I need to get my 813 registered so I can get it out in the open too!
