I have mixed thoughts on Aberdeen this year. The social aspect was the same as in years past.. Seeing old friends, catching up on things, comparing new aquisitions... Great stuff.
However, somethings were noticabley different, and not for the better.. There were considerably less portapotties...
Just get there EARLY on Saturday.. Like 8ish... There will still be plenty of vendors there then selling their stuff.. Thats when the best deals are had.
I think Aberdeen is primarily a hobbist show, and not geared torwards the public too much. Some shows like the NJ MTA gear torwards both, as there are things to do for mom and the kiddies (see the displays, etc), and they attract the public on Saturday. I think most people (hobbyists) going...
The NJ MTA show has a forklift on hand for use.... I always wondered why Aberdeen didn't. Seems the head of the NJ MTA show takes to heart the vendors suggestions, and impliments them. Kudos to him.
Plenty of parking for truck and trailers at Aberdeen.
Im looking for a deuce parking brake show set, new. I will have for sale some custom made Mule "passenger seat mounts" that bolt to exisiting holes in the mule, and accepts a mule seat. Made of Aluminum, all set for paint. I will have one being demoed on my mule there.
