Yes, I need the clutch to engage pto and the backhoe works ( along with the front bucket, which doesn't need the clutch). That's why I thought it may be the air shift solenoid.
Didnt pickup on any noise when it stopped. Just pushed in clutch to slow down, released and no movement.
I was idling in in the back yard with a bucket of dirt and pushed the clutch in to slow down as I approached where I was going to drop. When I released the clutch, nothing happened. I can shift into any gear position without the clutch
I had to read that thread before I posted. It is my understanding that bushing replacement is for difficult or non shifting. I have no problem engaging each gear.
I'm hoping it's the air shift solenoid. Do I have to tilt the cab to access it?

The front bucket and backhoe work without any problem. Just have to push/pull it to the site to dig a hole.
