    When these vehicles were an issue item, parts people were , at least in CONUS, to go down to the local Chevrolet dealer and draw non military specific parts.

    The biggest difference between a civilian blazer and a M1009 are likely to be electrical. Most of them would be configured for a 24 volt military radio so they have 2 batteries and 2 alternators for the 24 volt side and 12 volts is drawn off at some point for the lights, heater etc. Door...
