    First, get the correct support bracket, or you will end up with more problems than you really want to deal with. I am not saying that it will fix your problem, but it just might be the reason for the clearance problems. I don't know.

    Make sure you have the correct support bracket since they are different for the two types. Since you had a problem getting things to fit, I think it is worth checking out.
