    fuel sender not working

    I am posing a question about my 1953 m38A! fuel sender. I removed the old one that was broken, I bought a new one online .the new one is a exact copied and 24 volt. I also just bought a new gas tank and painted it. My question is the single wire to the sender seams fine. Do I need to some how...
