    Is there anything the trans is hitting on? Usually if it goes partially in, your good to go. Do you have the shifter in the right position to suck the rod at the back of the trans in? We had an issue putting one in and that rod sticking out the back is what held us up.

    If your just doing a rear main seal, leave the pressure plate and clutch on the flywheel. Yeah its heavy by itself, but a few extra pounds won't make that much difference. Then you won't have to worry about a clutch alignment tool to put it back together.
