The only problem I have is when I used the 250gal tank for this last trip, I used a hose hooked to the bottom of the tank to gravity fill my truck's tank. It was PAINFULLY slow. I suppose some iron pipe, instead of the garden hose I used would work better, but I digress.

Nope, I have been using 55gal poly tanks for 2 years w/o problems. I have the metal 250gal hho tanks for bulk storage too.

There is a post about wmo collection pumps right now. It has one of the models linked in it.

No I am not heating my oil. Horrible freight is where alot of members have got theirs from, but they consume lots of air. I got mine from GL, $60 for 2. I had to replace the seals in the one I am using($18), but it is awesome and the deuce air supply can keep up with it. I missed the 1gal per...

No, get a barrel pump. The pressures you will find are much higher. The filters I use is a set of secondary and final off the side of a deuce motor. Even new I see pressures as high as 25psi. Once they get dirty, it gets up to 100psi real quick. None of my filters are 5 micron, you will see...

Thanks for posting that Stampy, I might look into one in the future.

RW, I'm betting ALOT of those numbers have to do with certain types/brands of centerfuges.

A centrifuge is best, I cut my oil with gas and pump it through 2 deuce filters and a fleetguard filter. Specs and pics of my system are in this thread.

Yup, filter and add. No worries. Any ratio.
  10. gimpyrobb

NO! You can cut it with diesel or gasoline or nothing at all. I don't go as high as 50% even. I meant to put more than just WMO in the wrecker before winter, but didn't still runs fine. Cranks a little longer to start though.

Glad to have another on board!

I understand your statement about 3 stages of filtering, but also, they were intended to run on "anything" in the field. I will have to look into filtering smaller particles. I have already put about 30-40 hard drive magnets on the outside of my HHO container. Strong and cheap!

I agree, just wondering if he feels 10 micron is small enough.

Bjorn, would you think it needs more filtering than the 10 micron of the stock filters?

I have heard of guys running wmo in 1008s. Please look around, do not take my word on it. I am running wmo cut with gas in my truck(m109). In my research, I found info you might like to read by searching "waste motor oil filter setup" at google.

Your far enough north, just set it outside and let it freeze. Then pull out said chunk of ice. My deuce filters and fleetguard FS1000 pull out plenty of water. If I don't drain it off, it will plug the filters and stop flow.

Welcome Max, you are not too far from Kipman and Oilcan(just about in the middle of them). Welcome to the site. Lots of info on that if you use the search at the top of the page. I use some spare deuce filters and an FS1000.

Ronbo, I am using deuce filters and as a final filter a Fleet guard FS1000. It has worked well for me all summer. Also, it helps to cut it with gas so it flows easier through the filters. A pressure gauge helps to know when the filters are clogged too. Keep the working pressure around 60 psi.

I don't know. They just reported better results with IDI motors.
  20. gimpyrobb

Mark, in doing research for my wmo filtering, I found that alot of people that run IDI diesel motors use wmo in the fuel. A 6.2 is an IDI motor.
