808, mine are on stock rims. They have worked fine. I am in the midst of adapting some hemtt rims to fit on the deuce so I can eliminate the steering arm rub on the driver's side front.
To answer the bearing question, it may be BETTER for them, but only marginally. If you search 395/85r20, some guys have run these for quite sometime with no problems. I have had mine on for a small amount of time, but have had many miles and atleast 5ton in the bed with no problems or hot hubs yet.
If you do a search for 395/85r20, you will find the thread "Apoc ready to plunder". It has all the secrets in there. AZD used soapy water to lube up the tire, I used old silicone brake fluid.
Hans, the trucks can take some weight before the springs sag. There is about 6" between the bed and the tires. I flipped my rear hubs so the tires would be lined up, but would like a wider stance. I'm thinking about flipping the dish in some riveted rims to widen the stance.
