    BY all means use what you have, I just haven't had much luck with that style lasting very long.

    Is that the one thats real skinny and has the heat sink on the top? I have not had much luck with those. Another thought, aren't these boxes solid-state? Shouldn't need to worry about needing high enough current to make it flash. I would try a different style flasher unit. .02
