In Georgia, they are not supposed to issue a title for a vehicle that has been previously registered without a title, which sounds like your situation. If you can get an SF97, you can always try to get a title and see what happens. Perhaps pretend it hasn't already been registered, although...
Another difference in the T22B is that the previous version permitted VIN # inspection by either LEO or someone in the tag office. Now it's LEO only. I've never had any issues with the T22B form or the inspection.
If you bought the trucks from GL, you should have received a Paid In Full invoice for each truck. This is your Bill of Sale and hopefully you still have the copies. To get a title, you need the SF97 form, which you had to pay extra for. In GA you can't apply for a title on a FMV from GL...
I was told by DMV in Towns County that the standard procedure when you use a Serial Number instead of a 17-digit VIN is to place zeros in front of the S/N to make it 17 digits. I have no idea what you would do if the S/N was more than 17 digits. Probably very unlikely anyway.
I don't have to try to get my M35A3 titled, I was finally able to register it earlier, but it was illegally registered. Now I don't have to worry about having my title revoked like some have had happen. This was an incredible feat Swiss, Zout and others put forth getting this bill passed in...
SB392 still hasn't been signed. The link to Governor Deal's office and the list of bills signed in 2014 is: https://gov.georgia.gov/bills-signed/2014 . In Georgia, the Governor must sign or veto a bill within 6 days of passage during the legislative session or within 40 days after...
I heard on the news this morning that Governor Deal may not veto any of the bills passed by the legislature. No reason he would ever veto our bill anyway, in my opinion.

Received this e-mail tonight from Stephen Allison my Representative for District 8.
Mr. Caines,
Thanks for reaching out to me.
I will look out for this bill when it comes to the floor and I will be happy to support the bill
Sincerely
Stephen Allison
I've been in a remote area with no communications so I couldn't post. I contacted my State Representative Stephen Allison for District 8 in North Georgia. His contact information is:

I just discovered that Jim Butterworth resigned as State Senator for District 50 when he was made Adjutant General of the GA National Guard. Interesting that my e-mail didn't come back. I just e-mailed John Wilkinson at john.wilkinson@senate.ga.gov. I'll call him at 404-463-5257 in the...
I'm sending an e-mail to my State Senator Jim Butterworth and calling his office as well. Every SS member in Georgia needs to contact their Senator also. I also intend to get as many friends to contact their Senators as well. The more contacts the better the chance for success.
A lot of guys are buying M35A3s in Georgia. These are all illegal to title in Georgia as Zout, Swiss and others have mentioned. This has nothing to do with the manufacturer. AM General is a listed manufacturer in the DMV database. It strictly has to do with the year of manufacture. I was...
Have we reached out to the Georgia MVPA? They have members that are not on SS, but I know some likely have new MVs that may fall into this trap. Perhaps they can send out an e-mail to their members for support.
Swiss,
Send me a PM with your address and I'll send you a check. I previously had major problems titling my 1998 M35A3. It was bounced repeatedly by DMV, but finally went through and a GA title was issued. How's that tank working out?
