I agree. It's not my video. Just shows how it's made. Nice thing is that even if the water freezes it still catches them. Then I just have to transplant them or give to the cat for a "real" toy.
Put my rodent destroyer to work in an M1082.
Had two M929/M930 complete cargo cover kits stored in there and spotted a few droppings. Uncrated the covers and luckily no damage to anything even though one had a nest in it. Picked these up after my tree mishap last year.
On the three M1101/1102s I have not had a brake locking issue while backing. Now for the M101A2, well that was interesting trying to back up with a load. I didn't know of the pin at the time and was very confused as to what the heck was happening.
Hauled 2700 lbs. with an M1102. It didn't even lower but maybe two inches with the weight. The trailer followed behind nicely and braked very well too.
Even pulling a M105 with an M939 truck has issues. The trailer is too narrow to see when backing (by the time you do see it when backing, it is already starting to jacknife). Being so short, it jacknifes very quick, and with an ABS equipped power unit pulling a non ABS trailer, it is very hard...
The drop down sides fit in the wide stowage areas. They only seem to fit with hinges on one side or the other. They are all back and forth. I marked the side of each slot that the hinge faces with an "H" to speed up the putaway for future stowings.
Ground the driftpin that the crank handle attaches to on the landing gear of the M116 genset trailer. The handle was absent and now my 4-way lug wrench fits it. I took off a wee little at a time until it would just fit over the driftpin with resistance. Now I have a working landing gear.
Bet them ladies were awful glad you showed up!
I personally use a drop or two of motor oil or a dab of grease simply because it is always nearby. Once along the road changing a tire for the first time on a newly aquired vehicle I ran into every nut being a squaller, but I had oil! Pulled the...
Got it home and removed the black rattle prevention tape. Ordered new drain valve well nut (since they hammer the drain valves off). Gave her a test fire just to hear it in person. Also, went with the gimp trailer security system.
Replaced both LED tailights on the M1082 while at Findlay. The others both worked part-time, none, or half lit, or very dim; whatever they felt like doing at any given moment. Now they work properly, so it was in fact internal and not a ground issue.
Had bad fading on one of my M1082 data plates so I played connect the dots with a sharp pin punch to keep them legible for LE once the plate is completely faded. Did the make, model, date, and serial number.
Also repaired a leaky schraeder valve on a M105A2, put 37" tires back on two of my M1101/02s that I had small tires on (but got tired of the silly look), and broke free all four stuck brakes on my M1082s (from pressure washing and not driving immediately afterwards to chase off the water) with...
