    Transmission; NOS or rebuilt?

    AFAIK, TMC (Turner Manufacturing Co., UK - in partnership with Spicer) and probably others too, did not build the whole transmission. Instead, they did refurbish them, by the thousands. Including X-many of the old gasser 3052 (1:1 5th) transmissions which were converted to 3053 (0.79:1 5th O.D)...
