    Yes, Lunette, lines and all brake hardware removed. No problem stopping it with my 2500HD. It rides very nice too.

    Rip the brake system off and loose 400 pounds or more. Contact R and P trailer on ebay and order an axle that has the same bolt pattern as the tow vehicle one with electric brakes and a 7 pin civilian plug. Then you will be lighter, No need to carry a seperate spare, and others can use it too...
