    Depends on the base for the sticker and whether those without ID card can get on without being sponsored (I just had to sign one on today). 100% true.

    Not if you are driving on a military installation it isn't. Just because the airman at the gate doesn't ask to see your registration, doesn't mean it isn't required whether driving on base or removing a truck from GL off base.

    You'll notice almost all bases have parking lots by one or more gates. This is for all the people with issues: whether it be insurance, registration, or banned from driving on base due to tickets etc. Registration IS required to get on a Federal installation.
