    There is a newer version out, but the HMMWV is still in it.

    Because they still belong to the DOD. The only legally sold ones were in the late 90's from the Marine auctions or pieced together ones.

    Goverment Liquidation CAN NOT sell HMMWV's that aren't demilled.

    The Aug 18, 1997 Demil manual (DOD 4160 21-M) Page 4-57G lists the vehicles that must be demilled due to public safety and not meeting FMSS standards.
