    Only thing you can do is get wheels with different offset/backspacing. This is what I did, but there are other/better (and more expensive) options if you're running big tires (HEMTT wheels, etc.).

    The front hubs are already 'flipped'. You can only make the front axle narrower by flipping the hubs, and that requires a different braking setup.

    I've had just the opposite experience. I've run 35x12.5" tires on 7-8" wide wheels on a lot of different trucks, and I love the way they handle at speed. The extra sidewall bulge is a great way to protect the wheels, and it helps to keep the beads from unseating off-road at low-pressures.
