    I have an Outback 8048A; it's a bit old-school. I have heard good things with the Solark, but I don't have any personal experience with them. I was pointing at larger inverters as it gets expensive to stack the 8048A's.

    I set mine to run in heat pump-only mode. As a byproduct, it's dehumidifying my basement.

    For heating water, a heat pump water heater can really reduce load. Mine is on a 30amp breaker, but peaks at under 300 watts running in heat pump mode.
