    Why not TH400?

    Well I tried looking it up - I can't seem to find any reference to the 4l80 non "e". Either there weren't many made or my memory is a bit scrambled. It was a 1993 corvette with 4 speed automatic if anyone wants to try to look into it.

    I had a '90s corvette with 4l80 with no "e". I haven't seen many since. I think they were used on suburbans for a couple of years also.

    He is not looking for a 4 speed as much as a overdrive. An old muncie with granny gear would work great off road.
