    The quailty of motor oils we have today is lightyears from what they had in the 1960's. I would think wear would be greatly reduced.

    Thanks bjorn. The compresor looks the same as the one on my LDS. I haven't seen one on a multi with the exaust gas casing like that. My m35 has 53K in the ticker now. I got it with 13K. I change the oil every 2K or 6 months weather it needs it or not. I rarely run it over 2200 RPM's. I know...
