Today I replaced the cable connecting my M116A3 trailer to the tow vehicle. I looked up the National Stock Number of the cable so it was a direct swap.
Got all the connections matched up properly.
Interestingly enough, both the old and new cables had an extra connector labeled 37 that did...

Thank you. The center part definitely had the military green, but I think it got sprayed when someone painted a wheel while it was on the trailer. It's sort of hard to tell on the rest of it.

Question: When I find a new hub body, will I be able to transplant my almost brand new Timken wheel bearings over to it, or will I have to buy new bearings? Never had this...
